 Second Hand Cranes
We purchase equipment in good condition and can incorporate new features, alter spans, reshape and create new control systems to suit cranes ranging from 250kg to 100 tonnes. Our experience, together with excellent fabricating facilities, allow us to modify any capacity cranes within out 40,000 sq. ft factory
All electrical control panels are completely overhauled and checked to establish their compliance with the protection level, e.g IP54 for standard panels. Refurbished cranes are issued with 6 or 12 month warranty, New crane parts are issued with a 12 months warranty.
Refurbishment and Modification
Equipment can be tailored to customers requirements. Advice can be given on improvements and the reclassification of existing equipment to conform with the latest British Standards.
Our services include the extending or shortening of existing crane beams after inspection; Conducting a comprehensive deign check; assessment of the integrity of used structures; fabrication and re-establishing gantry beams to carry single or multiple crane; assessment of crane bases for gantry columns and radial swing jib cranes.
Conversions
Due to the nature of our business, our service engineers are engaged on a variety of cranes and their equipment and are capable of converting cab to pendant, infra red or radio control, manual to electric or air control”
